For Enrich Africa to champion a new community of African startups that will leverage its resources to grow and scale, the brand had to put its best foot forward.
The brand’s passion for reigniting the entrepreneurial spirit in young Africans as well as providing adequate support and opportunities for budding startups to compete on a global scale needed to translate into visual form.
With these in mind
We set out to create a brand identity for Enrich Africa.
We made sure the Enrich Africa brand needed captured attention and invoked a sense of belonging to any entrepreneur that would encounter it for the first time.
We pushed borders to signal the brand’s drive to spark a new wave of entrepreneurs and support afforded to them.
We took a new direction as opposed to what was conventional in the industry when it came to how startup communities were branded.
Here’s what we did differently!
We combined four individual icons to form a unique logo
These icons also served as inspiration for the creation of brand patterns for the brand’s identity. These patterns were created such that they could stand alone or be used with bold images.
Scaling & Increasing Innovation in Africa
These patterns were created such that they could stand alone or be used with bold images. We also picked out modern fonts for the brand to augment typography.
